Ovarian Cancer Awareness Bracelets

in Cancer Sucks

Edit: That was a record…the bracelets sold out in an hour. DAMN! I’ll promise to make some more this week while I take a break one night from the computer and relax. In fact it just might be tonight.

Yesterday I wrote a post about the fact that I’m missing a day of work today and I’m not getting paid. On top of not getting paid I have a $150 co-pay for todays procedure. Talk about getting double bitch-slapped.

In light of that I thought I’d show you some of my Ovarian Cancer Awareness Bracelets that I’ve made…I’m always making jewelry. The first five are all made from glass beads with silver-plated toggle clasps. The ovarian teal awareness ribbon beads are also glass. Each bracelet is around 7″ long.

If you would like the exact measurements just email me at lisaclusterfook at gmail.com.

These bracelets are $20 each, $2 for shipping and handling, and are for sale through PayPal.

Holy crap? Those are pretty! Looks like you sold them all? Yay.
I hope you don’t mind and I hope it doesn’t take away from your raffle, but I started a donation for Rachel’s burned hand, too.

Ok, I love the bracelets. I followed you home from OCB’s place.

Just wondering if I could do an email money transfer to you instead of credit card.

Your bracelets are beautiful! Will you be making any more of them? I would love to purchase two of them…one for my aunt (who is my best friend) and one for me. My aunt was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer last year, and the news was devastating to all of us. Anyway…she has one of the teal “promise” bracelets – but I would love for her to have something more beautiful and meaningful.

Angie, I am currently making some more and hope to post them in the next few days if I’m feeling O.K.

I sent you an e-mail to see if you’d like something custom made.

Hi Lisa,

I do hope you feel okay….I know it’s not fun trying to fight off fatigue and just not feeling well in general.

I didn’t receive your e-mail – I looked in the “junk” box too to see if it mistakingly went there, and I didn’t see it.

All of your work is just beautiful! My aunt is more of a gold person – and I’m more of a silver person….but I know she will love whatever it is. I would love for our bracelets to match as much as possible – but I know with the uniqueness of the beads, sometimes that difficult.

Thank you so much!
Angie

Angie, I’ve been feeling very fatigued and in a lot more pain than usual. I’ve also been trying to get ready for chemotherapy which usually puts me out of commission for about 5 to 6 days. I’m sorry I didn’t get any bracelets up this week but I promise to get them up at the end of next week when I’ve recovered from my round of chemo!

Please don’t feel badly at all! I’m so sorry that you are in pain and are not well. We can chat soon after you have “recovered” from this round of chemo. Thanks so much for even being willing!

Hi Lisa,

How are you feeling? I pray you are doing better…I was wondering if you are planning on making any more bracelets? If so, I would love to order two for Christmas…but if you aren’t feeling well, I’ll think of another gift. :-)

Thanks!
Angie

Hi Lisa,

I just stumbled upon your site while looking for a special ovarian cancer awareness bracelet. I was absolutely amazed at ALL of the designs you created. Very beautiful. I wondered if you have anymore available for sale? No doubt you are exhausted and making more is the last thing on your mind. Just know that you have inspired so many through your story. I lost my grandmother two years ago now to ovarian cancer. She was an unbelievable woman who overcame so much in her life. I was so close to her and the loss of her still feels like it was yesterday. It would be an honor to me to honor her memory with one of your designs.

You will be in my thoughts and prayers, as will your girls. My Grandma Sunnie will be looking over you.

I like all your designs…It is good to know that many women now around the world is spreading the awareness about ovarian cancer in their own way. We must fight against it. You can visit http://ovariancancerawareness1.com/.
